🍁🍁Oh how I love fall hues 🍁🍁

I absolutely love decorating our front lawn for fall! All of the pumpkins, mums, pansies and crotons add such rich color and texture to our front yard as well as adding great curb appeal.

I typically get my pumpkins each year at Market Street in McKinney as I find they have the best selection of the very tall pumpkins that I like to use on my front porch.

Do you want a quick tip on how to keep your mums in full bloom for long periods of time? Mums like to absorb water from the root up. I fill A large Lowe’s bucket with water to the very top of the bucket and then place my mums in the bucket (soaking the entire root ball only, I do not soaks the flowers) to allow them to soak in the water for a few minutes per each mum and I do this every other day. Mums do not like to be watered from the top of the plant so I never do that and I move them to a covered area when it rains. Works like a charm every year!
